Photographer Found Mysterious Photos In A Thrift Shop, And They’re Some Of The Most Beautiful You’ll Ever See

A lot of us go to thrift stores looking for affordable finds. If we’re lucky, we’d go home with a vintage item that holds fascinating history unbeknownst to us. Sometimes, out of curiosity, we find ourselves willing to go the extra mile to find out what it is. And that is exactly what happened to photographer Megan Abell.

Abell discovered a couple of mysterious slides in a thrift store just outside Richmond, Virginia. The beautiful series of old photographs intrigued her so much that she’s now on a journey to identify the mysterious women in the photos.

Given the style of hair and clothing, Abell believes these photos were taken by a professional photographer some 40 to 50 years ago.

“The photos were shot on medium format camera, with a film camera.”

The photographs are so perfect, Abell holds that there is reason to believe the photographs were meant for a magazine cover or feature story.

The photos turned out to be some of the most beautiful and classic images discovered in recent times. Abell’s Facebook post on these mysterious images has been shared thousands of times. There’s a good chance she’ll be able to solve this mystery pretty soon.
