A friend tipped off urban explorer and photographer who works under the name Freaktography to this abandoned house. He immediately knew that the house is special from the antiques and artifacts discovered throughout the place.
What he didn’t know is that there’s a secret buried somewhere in the house, which “had been hidden for possibly 30 years.”
Eager to investigate, the explorer entered the house carefully without alarming the neighbors.

After many years of neglect, houses such as this one are like time capsules.

The explorer could tell immediately that the house was going to be a treasure trove of artifacts.

The former residents died back in the 1970s. Sadly, the descendants left the house to rot and decay.

But the most interesting thing he discovered was these rolls and rolls of old smelly American and Canadian dollars, hidden under a mattress, totaling $6,800!
Freaktography
Upon closer inspection of the dates, he found out that the money had been collected through 1960s and 1970s.
Freaktography
He knew he couldn’t just leave the money where a vandal or another explorer might stumble upon it.
Freaktography
With the help of his friend, they tracked down the closest relative to the former residents of the house, and gave her the money.

The woman, who turned out to be one of the three granddaughters of the residents, was overcome with emotion when the urban explorer handed her the $6,800.

She thanked Freaktography and his friend and gave them a tour, providing them with information of the people who had once lived in the house.
