For Japanese Chie Hitotsuyama, newspapers are not just for reading but great materials for incredibly realistic animal sculptures. With an almost inhuman form of patience and talent, Hitotsuyama starts her work by densely rolling, twisting, and binding pieces of wet newspaper.
The intricate process is done entirely by hand. She uses colored print to enhance the contours and gradations of her creations. The results are these simply stunning sculptures you will ever see!
Talk about turning bad news into unbelievable works of art…
