From the Repeat Photography Alaskan Glaciers project of the US Ground Survey, these photographs reveal how our world is changing. Unfortunately for us, this kind of change is not for the better.
The project tracks the rate of glacier decline and in doing so, determines the rate of climate change. The before and after photos were taken from the same position, the latter clearly showing the alarming decrease of ice over the years. Needless to say, these photos provide warnings we cannot ignore.
